The University of Thiruvalluvar (mostly known as Thiruvalluvar University) is located in Vellore fort, which is one of the main monuments of the Vellore city. Vellore City is located in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It is newly opened university but well reputed in the state of Tamil Nadu. The Thiruvalluvar University was established in the month of October 2002 by the government of Tamil Nadu. The Thiruvalluvar University has become after Thiruvalluvar who was one of the greatest Tamil poets. The University was recognized by the University Grant Commission.
